to more doors.

I crossed－

you are gone.

Are you my

shadow all along－

am I the shadow

of a scorpion

who is afraid

of its own stinger,

the scorpion

who swims

across rooms, dying

to meet me－

詩人介紹 - Tim Tim Cheng

She is a poet and a teacher from Hong Kong, currently studying in Edinburgh. Her poems are in POETRY, The Rialto, Ambit, among others. Her pamphlet Tapping at Glass is forthcoming in 2023. Her latest appearances include the Hidden Door Festival, and The Loop, BBC Scotland. timtimcheng.com
