Sex Q&A
Sexually Transmissible Diseases
Where can I go for Sexually Transmissible Diseases (STDs) screening and treatment?
I would like to know if I deep kissing/french kissing a person that have sexual diseases or Aids, could I get infected by those diseases?
FPAHK provides STDs screening for women who are in need. For details, you may visit at "Women's Health Service".
You may also consider medical check-up services, treatment and counselling for STDs provided by The Social Hygiene Clinics (SHC) run by Department of Health. The service is free of charge, confidential and no doctor referral is required. Please click here to view details of clinics.
It is still possible, although the risks are lower, to contract certain sexually transmissible diseases such as herpes by kissing an infected person. If you are ever concerned that you may have been exposed to any disease, you should see a doctor and have a thorough medical examination.
