Opening Hours of FPA Birth Control Clinics from January to December, 2025
Spermicides can come in the form of foaming tablets, vaginal contraceptive film and sponge. They inactivate or kill the sperms before they meet the egg. Side effects are rare except some reported cases of allergy. They are generally less reliable. Preparations for use are easy. Foaming tablets should be moistened with water before being placed in the vagina. Vaginal contraception film and sponge are inserted into the vagina 15 minutes before sexual intercourse.
