The 5th Cross-Strait, Hong Kong and Macau Conference on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health 2017 The 5th Cross-Strait, Hong Kong and Macau Conference on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health 2017 After the past four Conferences on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health respectively held in Ningbo (Mainland China), Taipei (Taiwan), Hong Kong and Macau, the latest Conference had been successfully held in Chengdu, Sichuan this year. Ms Grace Lee, Education Manager of the Association, together with Education Officers Ms Keeley Chan and Ms Melody Tang joined the conference and shared the needs of youth and their experiences in delivering sexuality education.

“Know AIDS, No AIDS” Creative School Projects on HIV/AIDS Prevention “Know AIDS, No AIDS” Creative School Projects on HIV/AIDS Prevention Student-led projects can be an effective intervention for generating HIV-related knowledge and decreasing sexual risk behaviors among adolescents. “Know AIDS, No AIDS” Creative School Projects on HIV/AIDS Prevention was launched in the academic year of 2017/18, recruiting 73 student ambassadors from 8 secondary schools and 2 tertiary institutes, reaching over 6,000 students in their school projects.

Learning and sharing together: Skill-building workshops of the 4th Asian Conference on Sexuality Education Learning and sharing together: Skill-building workshops of the 4th Asian Conference on Sexuality Education Six workshops were conducted on the third day of the ACSE4 Conference, conducted by experienced sex educators and social workers from Taiwan, New Zealand and Hong Kong. The topics were diverse, including compensated dating, peer education, young people and media, sexual orientation, handling skills of unplanned pregnancy, two-sex education, etc.... A lot of participants found the workshops helpful. Through discussion, they gained insights of the problems and difficulties other regions were facing, through learning the past experiences of others they could then enrich their future programmes and thus also helped increase their confidence in implementing the programmes.
