More than 170 participants from healthcare, academia and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) convened to exchange insights and best practices in promoting sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and well-being with the goal to tackle emerging challenges in this era, including low birth rates, low fertility aspirations among the younger generations, delayed pregnancies and population ageing. Consolidated effort was called for to achieve this goal.
Professor Hextan Ngan, FPAHK’s President delivered the welcome speech at the opening.

Dr. Mona Lam, FPAHK’s Executive Director said, this conference focused on the SRH needs of different age groups with the goal to empower individuals at every stage of life to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. She urged for deepened collaborations and strengthened efforts among health professionals dedicated to promoting family planning and SRH and rights towards achieving this shared vision.
