Service Content
The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong respect the rights of individuals to choices and privacy. We provide for young people medical and counselling services relating to their sexual and reproductive health. We are committed to help them understand the meaning of sex, enjoy the right to be respected, and adopt a responsible attitude towards sex. Confidentiality is strictly maintained.
Integrated counselling and medical services are offered to unmarried people under the age of 26 on matters related to Sexual and Reproductive Health. Major services include:
- Reproductive health check-up and cervical cytology (liquid-based cytology)
- HPV vaccine1
- Blood tests and STD screening packages
- Contraceptive advice (e.g. oral pills*, injectable contraceptives, male condom, intra-uterine contraceptive device (IUCD), contraceptive implant etc.)
- Emergency contraception
- Pregnancy counselling
- Termination of pregnancy referral and counselling
- Individual sexuality counselling
- Counselling for sexually assaulted victims
- Dating and Sex counselling
1 Unmarried men aged under 26: if you would like to book HPV vaccination only, please seek Youth Health Care Service.
*According to the Department of Health's instruction, as of 28 June 2025, contraceptive medications sold in FPAHK must be prescribed by our Association’s doctor. If you wish to obtain contraceptive medications from our Association, please make an appointment to consult our doctors first.

Shingrix Zoster Vaccine Please note: clients must complete the vaccination at the same location.
According to the recommendations of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, regardless of whether you have had chickenpox before, people aged 50 or above / people aged 18 or above who have weakened immune systems or are at higher risk for shingles can consider to receive Shingrix Zoster Vaccine. Vaccination can protect against shingles and postherpetic neuralgia induced by shingles, and reduce related complications. As for whether or not to get vaccinated, please seek doctor’s advice first. |
