The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong opened its first integrated sexual and reproductive health center on 7 March 2005. The center was converted from an existing Birth Control Clinic and a Women’s Health Clinic in the Association’s Yuen Long Branch with a donation of HK$500,000 from a charitable fund in commemoration of a late pop artist, Ms Anita Mui, who died of cervical cancer in 2003.

Clients attending the new Centre can obtain various sexual and reproductive health services including birth control, women’s health check-up, menopause service, shared care hormone replacement therapy, pre-marital and pre-pregnancy check-up services, etc. A weekly specialist assessment clinic by the Association’s in-house gyaecologist will assess and manage women with more complicated gynaecological problems.
