Peer Sex Educators Training Scheme in Secondary Schools (2005)

Thirty-seven students who came from seven respective secondary schools joined the Peer Sex Educators Training Scheme. After a half-year training, preparation and practicum, they finally finished their mission of delivering their first sexuality education program in their life and become a REAL “Peer Sex Educator”!

The ultimate aim of the Scheme was to equip a group of secondary school students to promote sexuality in schools towards their peers. The peer educators had to attend a series of sexuality education training on topics like “love and dating”, “sexual behavior”, “media and sex” as well as “sexual harassment”. By participating in games and group discussion, the peer educators were equipped with accurate sex knowledge and positive sex attitudes. After the trainings, they planned and implemented a sexuality education program in their own schools.
