Cervical Cytology Follow-up
Service Content
The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong (FPAHK) collaborates with hospitals under the Hospital Authority (HA) to provide a Shared Care Program in Cervical Cytology Follow-up Service.
Clients with diagnosis of abnormal cervical cells from the hospitals can opt to follow up at the FPAHK clinic or by private doctors once their conditions have stabilized.
Clients who choose to have cervical cytology in the FPAHK clinic must have a referral letter from the HA hospitals to show that it is appropriate for them to follow up in the FPA clinic.
This is a nurse-led clinical service providing cervical cytology, follow-up, education & counselling. In addition, clients are advised to continue their regular health check-up.
