FPAHK appoints Dr LAM Wai-cheung, Mona as new Executive Director
The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong (FPAHK) announced the appointment of Dr LAM Wai-cheung, Mona as its Executive Director, effective 1 January, 2021.
Dr Lam is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with 20 years of professional expertise in public hospitals. She has been the Consultant in-charge of her Department since 2016, polishing her management skills in health administration.
She has also been devoting her efforts to serving the community and has extensive volunteer experience in collaborating with various non-governmental organizations and professional women groups.
“Joining the FPAHK is a valuable opportunity to serve the public in a different aspect: from the clinical area to community-based service, and from individual patient extending to family, sexual and reproductive health and rights,” she said.
Dr Lam succeeds the Outgoing Executive Director Dr FAN Yun-sun, Susan who is retiring this month. FPAHK is thankful to Dr Fan’s many valuable contributions to the Association in the past 25 years and offers her many well-wishes.
