FPAHK 70th Anniversary Webpage

Established in 1950, The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong (FPAHK) celebrates its 70^th Anniversary this year. The Association has been responding to the needs of the community by introducing medical, counselling, information and education services in Sexual and Reproductive Health in different eras and achieved significant milestones.  

The Association launches a series of promotional activities to commemorate its milestones over the past seventy years: family planning (from 1950s to 1960s), sexuality education (from 1960s-1970s), pre-marital and pre-pregnancy check-up (from 1970s-1980s), youth health care (from 1980s-1990s), advocacy of sexual and reproductive health and rights (from 1990s-2000s), men’s health (from 2000s-2010s), subfertility and human reproductive technology (from 2010s-2020s), as well as two sets of longstanding territory-wide surveys on family planning and youth sexuality trends. Looking ahead, the Association will continue to provide the public with appropriate, quality and up-to-date sexual and reproductive health information and services.

This series has been launched on the FPAHK Facebook Page since August. Eight themed posts are in the form of quiz games to test the public’s knowledge about the Association’s sexual and reproductive health services and publicity jingles. 

A total of eight illustrations featuring FPAHK’s sexual and reproductive health services in different eras will be published on "Tak and Kar" IG Account and FB Page. 

The Association has produced a video to share the significant milestones in the past 70 years and look ahead for the future development.

The specially designed AR filters will be launched on the FPAHK Facebook Page since September. Let’s take selfies with joy and share your warm blessings with friends and relatives.
