Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Treatment

The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong (FPAHK) collaborates with the Prince of Wales Hospital (PWH) to provide a Shared Care Program for clients with polycystic ovarian syndrome.
Clients diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome at PWH will usually be referred for follow-up at FPAHK Tsuen Wan Clinic or to a private doctor for their choice once their condition has stabilized. The aim of follow-up is to reduce these clients' relatively higher risk of hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus, hypertension and cardiovascular disease.
