More Quota of Hepatitis B Screening and Vaccination Offers Available

The Hepatitis B Prevention for n-Persons Campaign, launched this past 28 July (28‧7) on the World Hepatitis Day 2014 jointly by The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong (FPAHK) and ASIAHEP Hong Kong Limited, received overwhelming public response. The quota of the Screening and Vaccination Service Package at the discounted fee of $287 for 287 eligible persons was filled up quickly soon after Monday’s press announcement. In view of the keen demand, the Association has mobilized more resources to top up the quota by another 287 places for people who were born before November 1988 and haven’t received Hepatitis B vaccine, to get screened and vaccinated to prevent Hepatitis B.

The campaign encourages n-Persons, who have not received neonatal vaccination, have no antibody and no antigen of Hepatitis B, and therefore are at risk of infection, to take proactive preventive action.
