FPAHK Launches 2026 CNE Program: Equipping Frontline Nurses with Contemporary Insights into Menopause, Osteoporosis, Prenatal Care and Infertility

The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong (FPAHK) has officially opened enrolment for its Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) Program 2026 in “Sexual and Reproductive Health” (SRH). Scheduled for 25 and 30 June 2026, this two-session webinar series features four lectures and is tailored for local nurses, midwives and other healthcare professionals, offering CNE credits. The curriculum aims to equip frontline healthcare staff with updated SRH knowledge, help them understand their role in promoting SRH, and strengthen their confidence in managing SRH-related cases in their daily practice.

With emerging women’s health priorities surrounding ageing populations, alongside the growing trends of delayed childbirth and advanced maternal age in modern society, frontline nurses serve as vital pillars of public health support. To address these evolving healthcare demands, this year's curriculum covers recent advancements in SRH. Topics include menopausal hormone replacement therapy (HRT) with options and evidence for non-hormonal alternative treatments, osteoporosis treatment and fracture management, the latest information on prenatal screening, and infertility diagnoses and treatment. Lectures will be delivered by medical experts, including an FPAHK senior doctor, a specialist in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, as well as specialists in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
