Service Content

Aiming at early detection of common cancers suffered by women, such as cervical cancer and breast cancer.

The Service includes health history, general physical examination (including measurement of blood pressure and body weight, examination of the thyroid, abdomen, breasts and pelvis, auscultation of heart and lung). Laboratory investigations include urine analysis for glucose and protein. A Pap test* is also taken and women are taught breast self-examination.

*If the smear shows abnormality, the Association can arrange colposcopy referral to Hospital Authority, private hospitals or its Cervical Disease Clinic upon clients' requests.
