Awards Ceremony cum Press Briefing on "Breaking Racial Barriers: Educational Programme on Preventing Sexual Harassment for Secondary School Students 2020/21"

The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong (FPAHK) previously held the Breaking Racial Barriers: Educational Programme on Preventing Sexual Harassment Video Contest for Young People 2020/21, sponsored by the “Community Participation Funding Programme on Equal Opportunities” of the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC).  The contest encouraged youths to participate by making a video to disseminate among ethnic minorities messages on preventing sexual harassment, so as to improve equality and inclusion within our society. FPAHK will hold an awards ceremony cum press briefing to commend the winners and launch the newly published versions of “Understanding Sexual Harassment” pamphlets in English and three languages of ethnic minorities.

Creativity and the spirit of inclusion shine through their inter-racial cooperation. The runner-up employs scenarios to target the public and second runner-up animation to target children and parents respectively to illustrate what sexual harassment is and how to handle it. Both works have good educational value.
