Sexuality Education Debate and Short Film Shooting Competiition (2004)

In view of the good feedback from last year’s Debate contest, Famplus2 continued to organize the Sexuality Education Short-film Shooting Competition and Debate Competition for Secondary School Students in 2003. A total of 28 secondary schools participated in the Semi-Finals of Debate contest and two of them entered into the Grand Final held on 20th July.

For the short-film shooting competition, 23 short films were received and 9 of them were selected and presented an award in the ceremony that held on the same day of the Debate Contest. Some short-films were produced and performed by the young students themselves. Although their filming skills were not mature enough, the content of the short films demonstrated their creativity and reflected the most common myths of sexuality among the youth.
